🏃 4 X 4 X 48 CHALLENGE 🏃

North Bar’s very own Cal is doing something pretty intense to raise money for MND Association!

From 6th – 8th March, Cal will be completing 4 miles every 4 hours! And, all this starts from 4am! Or to put it more simply, he will be running 48 miles in 48 hours, with the added challenge of sleep deprivation.

Come sunshine, rain and even snow, our Cal has been hitting the roads training for this challenge, to raise money for this charity and the amazing work they do to support those suffering from MND.

Motor Neuron Disease describes a group of diseases that affect the nerves in the brain and spinal cord that tell your muscles what to do. There is no cure and can effect 1 in 300 people.

There have been many that have made people more aware of the disease recently, Rob Burrows and Doddy Weir, to name a couple, as well as Patrick Quinn, who co-devised the the ice bucket challenge. The 4x4x48 challenge, set up by David Goggins, has provided Cal and many others the opportunity to help the people and the professionals that work day and night to support those with MND.

We’re sure that Cal would appreciate your support, whether this be through a donation or sending him good vibes and encouragement. YOU GOT THIS CAL!
