On the 19th June 2013 at 5pm (ok, maybe ten past!), we opened our doors to the public for the first time. It’s been an amazing year for us in Otley, starting with Otley Cycle Race, followed by the Victorian Fayre in December. More recently we had a tasting night with Brew Dog, hosted Heather Dawe’s book launch for ‘A Bicycle Ride in Yorkshire’ and held Otley’s first ever Roller Racing event with Otley Sportive. We’re set for even better things this year with the World Cup coming up and the Tour De France coming right through Otley, plus lots of other exciting things in the pipeline!

Before all that though, IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY! We’ve teamed up with Jim (Pitmaster of Reds True BBQ) from The Old Yorkshire Pit to bring you a birthday party full of meaty goodness! Jim will be firing up the smoker at 6am for 12 hours of slow cooking – expect fantastic things! Our house brew, Prototype, from Kirkstall Brewery will be on offer at £2.50 all night and, of course, there will be cake!

Doors open at 5pm, and for those who are interested, yes we will be showing the England game!

Fingers crossed for fantastic weather so you can enjoy yourselves on our outside furniture.

So, here’s your pre-warning – don’t eat before you get here and book the following day off work!
